Life’s Better with a Sweater

My favorite part of fall/winter is wearing sweaters. I like sweaters so much that there is a certain point at the beginning of the season that I am actually forcing it. Yes, I am that girl wearing a chunky sweater on the first moderately cool day. And by “moderately cool” I mean a day that is barely below 70 degrees.

This is not some hot off the presses trend report. Sweaters are in this fall, they were in last fall, and will continue to be in for the falls to come in the future. So, this post is really just about fun ways to wear a sweater.

Sweaters are staple in the wardrobe and can really help pull an outfit together. Wear it with jeans, a skirt, shorts, you name it. Check out some of my favorite sweater combinations below!

Sweater & Brocade Skirt

Try this fresh office look. It is a perfect way to get through a case of the Mondays.  Pair a basic black sweater with a black and gold brocade skirt and you will be good to go. When you look good you feel good!

Sweater & Button Down

Give the preppy look a little zest. Try wearing a bright colored knit sweater with a button down with a studded collar. Pair it with a pair of skinny jeans. Don’t forget to tuck in your button down. It will give you a chic polished look.

Sweater & Maxi Skirt
If you can gather inspiration from the people around you, you are true fashionista. I say this because the skirt used in this look was actually something I saw my little sister wearing the other day! Pair this asymetrical skirt with a cheetah sweater. Throw on a hat and combat boots (that I think my sister owns as well lol) to complete the look.
