Are You Gellin’?

It was a long road before I got to gel eyeliner. I started out as a girl who only used pencil all through out high school. I was afraid of liquid because I wasn’t sure if I was skilled enough to use it. Then I got to college and decided to step my game up and to just start using liquid. It stayed on longer than pencil and in the end had a neater finish as well. I stuck with liquid all four years of college.

I thought I was content, but one day last year while at Duane Reade when I was actually there to replace my old liquid eyeliner I came upon Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Liner. I decided to take the plunge. Hey, if I hated it I could just give it to my mom who is just as big of beauty junkie as me. From the first stroke I quite honestly fell in love!

If I thought liquid liner created a neat finish, well gel liner blew it out of the water. If I thought liquid lasted long, well gel didn’t came off until I absolutely wanted it to. I never tried it because I thought it would be hard to use, but it is actually as easy to use as a pencil liner. Once you get the hang of it, you will practically scoff at the thought of using liquid or pencil liners.

You may be a liquid or pencil liner type of girl, but I urge you to try gel liner (specifically Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Liner). It’s under $10, lasts forever, and has a dramatic finish that no liquid or pencil liner could match.
