When over the knees boots trend started two or three years ago I was dying to get on it. I went out and got a pair immediately and wore them on every appropriate occasion. Last winter, for some reason, I was just over it. I did not want to wear them at all. I remember saying that they reminded me of Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman (and not in the lovable hooker way).
Now I am rethinking that thought…
When paired with the right skirt, dress, and or shorts over the knee boots give you a look that is reminiscent of the 1960’s. I have pulled out my pair and have worn them twice already this season. I am so happy that I decided to just keep them. If you have a pair, break them out again, and if you do not I strongly suggest buying one. It is the tall boot of the season and an absolute necessity in a fashionista’s wardrobe.
