People’s Choice Awards 2014: Lex Loves Couture’s Best Dressed

*Drum Roll* Awards season is officially upon us! Now the People’s Choice Awards are not the end all be all of the awards shows, but it does kick off a very exciting couple of months. The fashion showdown started last night. Here are my tops picks from the People’s Choice Awards 2014.

Allison Williams in David Koma

I love a dress that does not scream predictable. Allison Williams stunned in this unique number. The pairing of color-block pointed pumps with the dress is perfection. She made a wise choice in being minimal with her hair, makeup, and accessories. A vibrant dress like this speaks for itself and any additions would have definitely been overkill.

Anna Faris in Naeem Khan
Anna Faris_Naeem KhanThis look has landed Anna Faris on the best and worst dressed list. Well Lex Loves Couture approves! I love when someone goes against the grain. Deciding to wear a coordinate pants suit to an awards show instead of a dress was a very brave choice. I think Anna dazzled in this sparkly ensemble. She looked fresh faced and polished. Wise choice Anna, don’t listen to the haters! You look amaze.

Jessica Alba in Jason Wu

Adored this midi-length bondage dress on Jessica Alba. A bold lip would have really taken it over the edge, but she fills out this dress so well that there is little room for complaint.
