Lupita Nyong’o Steals the Show at the 2014 Golden Globes

As I watched the red carpet coverage of last’s night’s Golden Globes, I was impressed, but when I saw Lupita Nyong’o I had a fashion heart attack. This occurs when I see an outfit, accessory, shoes, etc. and for about 30 seconds the only thought in my mind is “OMFG”. When I saw Lupita the fashion heart attack was major.

It was like this Ralph Lauren cape dress was made for Lupita. The color, the length, and the way it hung just so off her shoulders made this dress perfect for the first time nominee. Her glowing complexion, chic cropped cut, and minimal accessories also did not hurt in making this look a sure-fire win.
