7 Hairstyles Perfect for Fall

We all love fall, but I love fall for a very particular reason— no humidity! For some girls humidity is a non-issue. Lucky you, but for me no matter what my hair length or style is, my hair is frizzy in the summer time.

Fall is literally the perfect hair weather season. Why? It is not too hot so your hair is not weighed down and not too cold so your hair is not dried out from the frigid air. It is also great for skin, but that is for a later date.

Your frizzy days are behind you, so here a few hairstyles perfect for fall…

Braided Long Hair

The advantage of long hair is that your options are pretty much endless. On a casual day when you don’t want to deal with your hair getting stuck in your cardigan or leather jacket, why not braid it? Even if you are the type of girl who “isn’t good at doing hair”, you can achieve this style. If you know how to do a braid then you know how to do this style. It’s essentially just two braids.

Natural Hair Flexi Rod Set

For my natural hair girlies, this is a great protective style that also has the added benefit of stretching your curls. It lasts a few days depending on how you sleep on it and you can use it as  a base for other hair styles.

Straight and Sleek

This is simple, but like I said this is literally the best hair weather. So, what better time to wear your hair straight? Any other time of year, the elements are your enemy.

Whether your hair is naturally wavy or you create waves on your own, this is is a great fall hairstyle. It  is also super easy to achieve. Braid two small sections in the front of your hair and pin them back. Voila! You have a super polished style that required minimal effort.

Pixie and a Headband

There’s no denying that having a pixie haircut can be a bit limiting style wise. One way to add a bit of spice is by wearing a headband. You can go for an embellished metal headband or even go the route of wearing a scarf or a bandana. For a styling you can add a bit of texture with a curling wand or flat iron to create loose messy waves.

Short Soft Waves

Whether you have relaxed hair, straight hair, curly hair, or wavy hair you can achieve this hairstyle. This is a more polished version of beachy waves. It can be achieved with a large barrel curling iron and hair spray. It does not need to put perfect, but a little more care is required for this type of hairstyle.

Loose Waves with a Top Knot

This is great for second (or third) day hair. The top knot can be as neat or messy as you want it to be. The same can be said about the waves. This look is carefree and ideal for all of your fall activities.
